Well, today we got a much earlier start and were on the road at 6:25 a.m. Nice and cool with very little traffic.  We made good time throughout the
day and got caught up to our original schedule.  We landed in Bodega Bay,
and after some extra riding to get settled in, finally completed the day
with 74 miles.  The hardest part of the day was between Fort Ross and
Jenner... some big hills, no shade, and the sun was pretty intense.

Highlights of today included the continuing generosity of people.  Allan
and Suzzane McLean asked us about our trip while at breakfast in Gualala.
When I came back from the bathroom, Mike pointed out that they had paid
for our breakfast.  How nice!.  Then, Sally and Julian from England bought
us each a beer when we went to dinner.  Again, how nice!

We're planning on hitting Mark Massara's house at Ocean Beach tomorrow if all goes well.  Many thanks and kudos to our two Lauras for all of their
support and for letting us do this crazy trip.  We love you both.
