Mike and I made it from Bodega Bay to Ocean Beach in San Francisco.
Another 73 miles today. We hit every kind of weather... cool in the
morning, hot as can be in the afternoon, and freezing cold and foggy in
San Francisco.
We had a lot of generosity today again... Ed at the general store in Tomales gave us a couple of bananas, Tom at Fairfax Cyclery was gracious enough to fix a broken spoke right away and get us back on the road on schedule, and Mark Massara let us stay in his amazing house at Ocean Beach.
All in all a good day. Watch the slide show and you can see the new photos. We still haven't gotten surf, but are hopeful for tomorrow. Point Arena was much too small, as was Doran Beach. By the time we hit Ocean Beach it was too big and blown out. So, we're hoping
Santa Cruz works for tomorrow.
