After a great day of rest, Mike and I were out on the road at 6:15 a.m.
We had a bunch of long hills to climb out of Big Sur.  This took about 50
miles.  We made good progress and were able to hit the flats after Ragged
Point and had a solid 25 mile an hour tail wind behind us.  So, we charged
all the way to Cayucus (88.6 miles).  Of course, with a strong tail wind,
it means that the surf is blown out.  We're hoping to get up early and get
a surf in here, or at Pismo Beach before making it to Mike's friend's
house in Lompoc.  Friday will be a bit easier with a 55 mile finish into
Santa Barbara.

Funny moment of the day occurred when the guy making us Mocha in Gorda began talking.  I didn't understand what he said and said, "Pardon?"  He said, "I'm talking to God" and went back to finishing our mochas.
Something must have happened in that conversation 'cause our mochas were GREAT.
