So, it's day…5? Yes. I'm losing track of days! Sometimes at the end of the day I can't even remember where we started from that morning. Call it what you will, but each day is a stimulation overload. Today we left bright and early (again!) from Montara, where the boys found no surfable waves. We charged it the 9 miles to Half Moon Bay where we stopped for breakfast and an Interview with the Half Moon Bay Review. We then had a good 38 miles ahead of us to Davenport which seemed absolutely endless!! I tried to convince myself that it was "just a few miles more", but the town just didn't want to arrive. I think we were each facing fatigue from the past 2 days of 60+ mile days and I know I in particular was suffering from not only a sore knee but a sore butt. We somehow made it though and finally arrived in Santa Cruz. Sorry guys, no pictures today, I was just too focused on biking today to even think about pulling out my camera. I'll make it up tomorrow with our DAY OFF!!! Yay! Tonight we are all staying at the Hostel International, Santa Cruz, Greg with his family who drove down to meet him, and Mike, Scott and I in our own private room. We are two wine bottles deep and enjoying a homemade salad to boot. We've got the laundry machine churning out all our grease and grim and we are about ready to head into town. Until tomorrow….
