Bike & Surf California!
June 24th
Hi all,

A pretty standard 49 mile ride from Santa Cruz to Monterey.  We had fog most of the way, so it stayed cool.  Went through suburban neigborhoods, farm land, then the coast.  Got a surf in at San City.  A bit choppy and windy, but nice to get in the water.

The hostel at Monterey is great.  Aaron totally hooked us up, so thanks to him.  We gave a presentation about the trip using the netbook and all, so that was fun.  Finished with a nice meal in Pacific Grove, and now about to get off to sleep.

Tomorrow we're taking the senic route into Big Sur through Asilomar and Carmel before another rest day.  Might even get lucky enough for a double surf session.

Okay, until tomorrow.....
